The Importance of Exercising Everyday.
We in life are so often consumed with our ambitions, we forget to value things like we should. Let us pause and think about what really matters. People work hard and earn money so that they can have a happy life and have everything they ever wanted. What did we ever want. A nice house to stay in, a family to share it with, good food to eat, nice clothes to wear and so on and sso forth. But what we forget so often is that to enjoy all this we need a sound mind and sound body. We often overlook this fact and it comes back to haunt us when our blood pressure, heart problems, kidney or liver cause us to think back and regret. Realise how it is too late now. We are obese, the clothes we thought of wearing and the things we planned on eating all that has just turned on its head.
I suggest an alternative. Why don’t we jump the gun and begin to be cautious and consistent from the start. Why don't we begin exercising every day. The benefits of regularly exercising are what we so dearly need in our lives.
1: It helps you control your weight gain and in return combats diseases like depression, arthritis, diabetes, blood pressure, types of cancer, heart problems and falls. What happens is our hearts begin to dysfunction and without regular pumping cholestrol and unhealthy triglycerides can cause serious cardiovascular diseases.
2: While we earn money to be happy, work often winds us up pretty bad and we are irritable and frustrated more often than we care to admit. And all that frustration is released on that Saturday night party where one tends to binge drink and smoke just cause we just need to lighten up our mood. This in return leads to more liver and heart problems. The perfect solution for this stress is what us as kids knew and as adults seem to forget. Playing outdoors or even a thirty minute workout can do wonders for our mood. More and more people are getting gym equipments inside their offices for convenience. After a workout one tends to feel so much more happier and relaxed. Treating our bodies like a temple benefits us greatly and once we begin to get in shape we feel so much better about ourselves a new self esteem which we thought we had lost forever begins to return.
3: Investing on a healthy diet and all kinds of medicines just so we feel more energised seem to go in vain when the easiest source to more energy is delivering of more oxygen and nutrients to your tissues so that your cardiovascular muscles and lungs begin to work more efficiently. This can only be achieved through increasing our physical exercise output. One can be soon found having more energy for one’s daily chores and work.
4: A whole lot of the urban population has trouble sleeping at night. And this can be traced back to the unhealthy lifestyle they are part of. From eating habits to being overly stressed it all affects the sleeping patterns and results in people being restless at nights and thus ruining their next day. Regularly exercising can deepen the sleep and make one fall asleep without a struggle.
5: Another trouble agenda is the dissatisfied sex life which results in tension and frustration for most couples. Erectile dysfunction and lack of intimacy are caused by being reclusive of all sorts of exercises. Being active on your feet can make things better in bed. When one feels fitter one feels happier thus performing better and being happier in all togetherness.
6: Most importantly what we do tend to forget is how much fun exercising is. Whether it be cycling outdoors or running while the sunrises or sets. Or going for a beautiful hike. Playing back in the field can refresh memories of childhood and lead to total bliss. The thought of sliding a pass or hitting a boundary can make one so happy that all problems and sources of stress seem diminished and one can just lose themselves in indulgence.
Here's hoping this piece inspires you to get revving and begin exercising again till all these changes become part of your lives. And you can be truly happy once again.
